僅 If the curve is too large or too small, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control may not
operate.
僅 Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control is a supplemental function and is not a substi-
tute for safe driving. It is the responsibility of the driver to always check the speed and
distance to the vehicle ahead. Always drive safely and use caution.
NOTE
僅 A time gap could occur between the navigation's guidance and when Navigation-based
Smart Cruise Control operation starts and ends.
僅 The speed information on the cluster and navigation may differ.
僅 Even if you are driving at a speed lower than Smart Cruise Control set speed, accelera-
tion may be limited by the curve sections ahead.
僅 If Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control is operating while leaving the main road to
enter an interchange, junction, rest area, etc., the function may operate for a certain
period of time.
僅 Deceleration by Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control may feel it is not sufficient due
to road conditions such as uneven road surfaces and narrow lanes.
Lane Following Assist (LFA)
Lane Following Assist detects lane markings and/or a vehicle ahead on the road, and cen-
ter your vehicle in the lane.

Warning Methods

Warning Methods can be set when the vehicle is in ON position.
僅 Warning Volume: Select [[Settings → Vehicle → Driver Assistance → Warning Meth-
ods → Warning Volume]] on the infotainment system, and adjust the warning volume.
僅 Driving Safety Priority: Select [[Settings → Vehicle → Driver Assistance → Warning
Methods → Driving Safety Priority]] on the infotainment system. The audio volume is
reduced for safe driving while a warning sounds.
NOTE
僅 Ensure that Warning Methods you have set may apply to the Warning Methods of
other driver assistance systems.
