Vehicle controls
僅 For your safety, do not block your view when using the sun visor.
WARNING
僅 Do not install any accessories in the area of windows. It may impact jam protection.
僅 Always check for obstructions before raising any window to avoid injuries or vehicle
damage. If an object less than 4 mm (0.16 inches) in diameter is caught between the
window glass and the upper window channel, the automatic reverse window may not
detect the resistance and will not stop and reverse direction.
僅 The automatic reverse feature is not activated while resetting power window system.
Make sure body parts or other objects are safely out of the way before closing the win-
dows to avoid injuries or vehicle damage.
僅 NEVER leave the keys in your vehicle with unsupervised children, when the vehicle is
running.
僅 NEVER leave any child unattended in the vehicle. Even very young children may inad-
vertently cause the vehicle to move, entangle themselves in the windows, or otherwise
injure themselves or others.
僅 Always double check to make sure all arms, hands, head and other obstructions are
safely out of the way before closing a window.
僅 Do not allow children to play with the power windows. Keep the driver's door power win-
dow lock button in the LOCK position (pressed). SERIOUS INJURY can result from unin-
tentional window operation by the child.
僅 Do not extend heads or any limbs outside the window while the vehicle is in motion.
僅 Make sure body parts of other objects are safely out of the way before remote closing
the windows to avoid injuries or vehicle damage.
CAUTION
僅 Do not use the interior lights for extended periods when the vehicle is not running. It
may cause battery discharge.
僅 To prevent damage to the conductors bonded to the inside surface of the rear window,
never use sharp instruments or window cleaners containing abrasives to clean the win-
dow.
僅 To avoid possible theft, do not leave valuables in the storage compartment.
僅 Always keep the covers closed while driving. Do not attempt to place so many items in
the vehicle that the cover cannot close securely.

僅 When the air conditioning is turned on by Auto defogging system, if you try to turn off
the air conditioning, the air conditioning will not be turned off.
僅 To maintain the effectiveness and efficiency of the Auto Defogging System, do not
select Recirculation mode while the system is operating.
僅 When the Auto Defogging System is operating, the fan speed adjustment knob, the tem-
perature adjustment knob, and the air intake control button are all disabled.
僅 Do not remove the sensor cover located on the upper end of the driver side windshield
glass.
