Vehicle controls
僅 There is a traffic light, reflecting sign, flashing sign or mirror ahead.
僅 There is a temporary reflector or flash ahead (construction area).
僅 The road conditions are bad such as being wet, iced or covered with snow.
僅 A vehicle suddenly appears from a curve.
僅 The vehicle is tilted from a flat tire or is being towed.
僅 There are many street lights or the ambient light is bright.
僅 Light from a vehicle is not detected because of exhaust fume, smoke, fog, snow, etc.
僅 The front windshield is covered with foreign substance.
Headlamp escort function
Operation
僅 The headlamps remain on for approximately 5 minutes if the vehicle is in ACC or OFF
position with the headlamps ON.
僅 The headlamps turn off after 15 seconds if the driver door is opened and closed.
Operating condition(s)
僅 Vehicle is in the ACC position and the driver door is opened and closed.
CAUTION
If the driver gets out of the vehicle through a door other than the driver's door, the battery
saver function will not operate and the headlamp escort function will not be disengaged,
so the battery may be discharged. When exiting through a door other than the driver's
door, be sure to turn off the lights of the vehicle before exiting.
Interior lighting
Operation
僅 The room lamp will turn on.
- For approximately 30 seconds.
Operating condition(s)
僅 The map lamp switch is in DOOR mode.
僅 All the doors (and tailgate) are closed and locked.
Welcome system
The welcome system is a function that illuminates the surroundings or the interior when
the driver approaches or exits the vehicle.
Welcome lights(door handle)
The outside door handle lamps will turn on for approximately 15 seconds
