Vehicle controls
僅 To lock all doors, operate the central lock switch inside the vehicle. Open the car door
using the inner handle, then close the door and lock the driver's door with a mechanical
key.
僅 Refer to "Door locks inside the vehicle" on page 5-31 to lock from inside the vehicle.
僅 Be careful not to lose or scratch the door handle.
僅 Do not apply excessive force to the door and door handle. It may be damaged.
Locking/unlocking with a digital key
Carry your smartphone and touch the tactile portion on the exterior door handle to acti-
vate the door lock sensor.
If your smartphone or card key does not support UWB, touch the digital key to the door
handle for about 2 seconds.

Automatic door lock and unlock features
Your vehicle is equipped with features that will automatically lock or unlock your vehicle
based on settings you select in the infotainment system screen.
1. To activate Approach unlock system, select Setup → Vehicle → Door → Activate
Approach Unlock in the infotainment system.
2. Approach the outside door handle of the driver's side.
The outside door handle pops out while automatically unlocking. The hazard warning
lights flash twice, and a warning sound will ring twice.
If the door lock sensor on the door handle is not touched within approximately 2 sec-
onds after it pops out, all doors will be locked again, and the outside door handle will
retract.
Auto lock enable on speed
When this feature is set in the infotainment system screen, all the doors will be locked
automatically when the vehicle exceeds 15 km/h (9 mph).
Auto lock enable on shift
When this feature is set in the infotainment system screen, all the doors will be locked
automatically when the vehicle is shifted out of P (Park) while the vehicle is running.
Auto unlock on shift to P
When this feature is set in the infotainment system screen, all the doors will be locked
automatically when the vehicle is shifted out of P (Park) while the vehicle is running.
Auto unlock vehicle off
When this feature is set in the infotainment system screen, all the doors will be unlocked
automatically when the vehicle is turned off.
Impact sensing door unlock system
All doors will automatically unlock when an impact causes the air bags to deploy.
Additional unlock safety feature air bag deployment
When this feature is set in the infotainment system screen, all the doors will be unlocked
automatically when the vehicle is turned off.
