Vehicle safety controls
僅 If the SRS air bag warning light blinks or does not appear when the EV button is in ON
position, or if it illuminates while the vehicle is being driven, have the system inspected
by a professional workshop. Kia recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer/service
partner.
NOTE
僅 When the passenger's front air bag ON/OFF switch is set to the ON position, the passen-
ger's front air bag is activated and child or infant seat should not be installed on the
front passenger's seat.
僅 When the passenger's front air bag ON/OFF switch is set to the OFF position, the pas-
senger's front air bag is deactivated.

Operating condition(s)
僅 When EV button is in ON position, the SRS air bag warning light will appear for approxi-
mately 6 seconds and go out.
WARNING
If any of the following conditions occurs, this indicates a malfunction of the SRS. In this
case, have the system inspected by a professional workshop. Kia recommends visiting an
authorized Kia dealer/service partner.
僅 The light does not turn on briefly when you turn the vehicle ON.
僅 The light stays on after illuminating for approximately 6 seconds.
僅 The light comes on while the vehicle is in motion.
僅 The light blinks when the vehicle is in ON position.
