Digital Center Mirror error icon and solution
Symptom
If the high temp icon
( ) is displayed on
the display right side.
If the display icon

Outside rear view mirror
Adjusting the outside rear view mirror
Operation
僅 Move the outside rear view mirror switch (1) to select the left or right side of the mirror.
僅 Adjust the mirror adjustment control (2) to move the selected mirror.
Folding the outside rear view mirror
Operation
僅 Press the button to fold or unfold the mirror.
WARNING
僅 The outside rear view mirror is convex. Objects seen in the mirror are closer than they
appear.
Likely cause
The Digital Center Mirror is
extremely hot. (The display will
gradually become more dim. If
the temperature continues to
increase, the Digital Center
Mirror will turn off.)

Solution
Reducing the cabin tempera-
ture is recommended to
reduce the temperature of the
mirror. (The icon will disappear
when the mirror becomes
cool.)
If the icon does not disappear
even though the mirror is cool,
have the vehicle inspected by
an authorized Kia dealer.
Change to optical mirror mode
and have the vehicle inspected
by an authorized KIA dealer.
