Vehicle controls
僅 Always keep the front trunk cover closed securely while driving. Items inside your vehi-
cle are moving as fast as the vehicle. If you have to stop or turn quickly, or if there is a
crash, the items can be damaged.
僅 Do not spray water in the front trunk. Vehicle driving system may get damaged since
the front trunk is located at the center of motor compartment.
僅 Be careful when you store any liquid in the front trunk. If liquid leak outside the front
trunk, it will cause a damage to the electric devices in the motor compartment.
僅 Do not press the front trunk cover or place the objects on the front trunk cover. It may
be deformed or damaged.
僅 When closing the front trunk cover, be careful not to touch objects inside the trunk.
Loaded objects or the front trunk may be deformed or damaged and the front trunk
cover may be opened during driving due to poor closing, resulting in joints and damage.
僅 If a smart key or a UWB-supported registered smartphone (digital key) is inside the front
trunk, when the hood is closed, a warning sound will ring, and the hood will reopen.
Please check if there is a smart key or smartphone (digital key, UWB-supported) inside
the front trunk.
NOTE
僅 To avoid possible theft, do not leave valuables in the storage compartments.
僅 When the hood is opened using a smart key or digital key application, the interior lamp
inside the front trunk may turn on depending on the status of the door interlocking
function for interior lighting.
- DOOR OFF button ON state: interior lighting not turned on
- DOOR OFF button OFF state: Interlocking with interior lighting
Charging door
Precautions
WARNING
Do not leave the vehicle with the charging door open. An open charging door may indicate
that the vehicle door has been unlocked and may be subject to vehicle theft.
CAUTION
僅 The charging door opens to the right. Check the surrounding while the charging door is
open or close. Be aware of your head or limbs from being hit or stuck to the charging
door.
僅 Do not hold the hinge to prevent damaging the charging door and causing other acci-
dents.
僅 Be careful when storing food in the front trunk. Food may spoil if exposed to direct sun-
light or if the temperature inside the front trunk rises during long-term driving in an air-
tight state.
僅 When loading items in the front trunk, do not store items that exceed the recommended
weight, and place heavy items evenly so that they are not leaned to one side. Load only
items weighing less than 5 kg (9 lbs.) on the battery A/S cover.
僅 When loading items on the front trunk, do not drop them. In case of strong impact, it
may be damaged.
僅 Do not store bulky or heavy objects in the front trunk net for a long time. The net may
sag or become deformed.
