Vehicle controls
The driving route guidance display in the augmented reality mode is an auxiliary func-
tion. Be sure to check the navigation screen together.
僅 ALWAYS pay attention on the road while driving when the Head-Up Display is on.
CAUTION
僅 The information is displayed after getting information from a weather information pro-
vider via GPS. Depending on conditions of GPS reception, the information may be differ-
ent from the current weather in your area.
僅 Be careful while driving as dynamic-themed animation effects can distract the driver
and lead to unexpected accidents.
NOTE
僅 When the remaining battery is lower than 10% for the high voltage battery, the vehicle
speed is limited and then eventually the vehicle will turn OFF. Charge the vehicle imme-
diately.
僅 If the vehicle is not on level ground or the battery power has been interrupted, the dis-
tance to empty function may not operate correctly.
僅 The distance to empty may differ from the actual driving distance as it is an estimate of
the available driving distance.
僅 The distance to empty may vary significantly based on driving conditions, driving habits,
and condition of the vehicle.
僅 Use a clean soft microfiber cloth to gently wipe any finger prints off the touch screen.
僅 The instrument cluster for the right-hand drive vehicle may be on the opposite side
show differently.
僅 The vehicle must be driven for a minimum of 300 meters (0.19 miles) since the last cycle
before the accumulated driving information is recalculated.
僅 The average energy economy is not displayed for more accurate calculation if the vehi-
cle does not drive more than 10 seconds or 50 meters (0.03 miles) since the EV button
is turned to ON.
僅 Calculates and displays when you need a scheduled maintenance service (mileage or
days). If the remaining mileage or time reaches 1,500 km (900 miles) or 30 days, the
message Service in is displayed for several seconds each time you set the vehicle to the
ON position.
僅 Some driving information stored in the trip computer resets if the battery is discon-
nected.
僅 If any of the following conditions occurs, the mileage and days may be incorrect.
- The battery cable is disconnected.
- The battery is discharged.
僅 If sunroof open warning is displayed in the cluster, the Driving Information message
may not be displayed.
僅 To set the charging time and/or climate time, refer to Navigation Quick Reference
Guide.
僅 If the icy road warning appears while driving, you should drive more attentively and
safely refraining from over-speeding, rapid acceleration, sudden braking or sharp turn-
ing, etc.
僅 Make sure that all warning lights are OFF after starting the vehicle. If any light is still ON,
this indicates a situation that needs attention.
