僅 With the warning volume is 0, if you deselect Haptic Warning, the warning volume will
be automatically adjusted with volume 2.
僅 With the Haptic Warning is deselected, if you adjust the warning volume to 0, the Hap-
tic Warning will be automatically selected.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist operation
Basic function
Warning and control
The basic function for Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist is warned and controlled by the
following level.
僅 Collision warning
僅 Emergency braking
僅 Stopping vehicle and ending brake control
NOTE
僅 The following warning message will appear on the LCD display.

Collision Warning
Warning message: Collision Warning
Collision Warning will alert the driver with a warning light (
ble warning and steering wheel vibration.
Collision Warning will be activated in the following conditions.
僅 Your driving speed or powered two-wheeler: 10~200 km/h (6~124 mph)
僅 Pedestrian or cyclist: 10~85 km/h (6~53 mph)
Emergency Braking
Warning message: Emergency Braking
The warning light (
vibrate to warn the driver that emergency braking will be assisted. The brake assist will be
activated and it helps to avoid the collision of a vehicle, pedestrian, and cyclist.
Emergency braking will be activated in the following conditions.
僅 Your driving speed or powered two-wheeler:
Weak braking power
Strong braking power
*: If Forward Collision Avoidance Assist judges that avoiding a collision is difficult even by
changing the driving lane. The function operate range may decrease due to surround-
ings of the vehicle. (if equipped)
