Description
Specifies the amount of time that
constitutes an arc, and how long after an
arc until the power supply shuts down;
requires 2 data bytes arranged as follows:
• first byte = arc detect time index;
accepts a value of 0 to 9:
0 = 0 μs
1 = 1 μs
2 = 2 μs
3 = 5 μs
4 = 10 μs
5 = 20 μs
6 = 50 μs
7 = 100 μs
8 = 200 μs
9 = 500 μs
• second byte = arc shutdown time

1 = 20 μs
2 = 30 μs
3 = 40 μs
4 = 50 μs
5 = 100 μs
6 = 200 μs
7 = 500 μs
8 = 1,000 μs
9 = 2,500 μs
Note: 10 kW and 20 kW Pinnacle units
with a 208 V input configuration
have a minimum arc shutdown
time of 50 μsec.
