Removing a Failed Power Supply from an Array or Expansion
Module
To remove the failed power supply from the DXi6900 G1 Array module
(RBOD) or Expansion module (EBOD):
Caution: Make sure to remove the failed power supply (service
action LED is amber) and not the functioning power supply
(AC enabled LED is green). If you remove the functioning
power supply, power will be lost to the Array or Expansion
module, and data loss may occur.
1 Disconnect the power cable from the power source and the failed
power supply (see
2 Pull the handles out and toward the sides of the power supply.
3 Slide the power supply out of the chassis.
