2 Gather a Collect Log (see
backup the current configuration on the DXi system. The collect log
will be used to remap remote host groups to targets after the card
swap procedure is complete.
3 Navigate to Configuration > VTL > Remote Host Access >
Remote Host Mapping.
4 Under Remote Host Mapping & Groups, delete all remote host
groups (see
Figure
5 Shut down the system (see

6 On the rear panel of the Node, document and label the Fibre
Channel cables used for PTT configurations. Fibre Channel cables
used for VTL configurations will be remapped and do not need to be
labeled.
7 Label and remove all other cables attached to the Node, including
power cables.

9 Remove the 8 Gb Fibre Channel card in Slot 3:
