the chassis wall and secured using the cable securing
bracket.

Note: The BIOS is automatically updated to the correct Quantum
version when the system boots up. There is no need to
manually update the BIOS, but you must verify that the
BIOS settings are set correctly.

b As the system boots, press F2 to display the System Setup
Main Menu.
c Follow the steps described in

on page 234 to verify that all BIOS settings are set to
the Quantum required value, and make any changes as needed.

Updating the Service Tag and Setting the OEM ID
After replacing the system board, you must install the service tag
(specific to the Node) on the replacement system board. This allows the
DXi6900 G1 software to recognize and display the correct service tag on
the Hardware Status page.
In addition, you must run a utility to update the OEM ID. This correctly
sets the system OEM ID to Quantum.
