- Controllare, pulire e lubrificare le
catene esterne del braccio
Questi controlli sono importanti per il cor-
retto funzionamento del braccio. In caso di
anomalia, consultare il concessionario.
PULIRE E LUBRIFICARE
- Collocare il carrello elevatore sugli stabi-
lizzatori, con il braccio in orizzontale.
- Estendere completamente i bracci tele-
scopici.
- Proteggere la parte superiore dei bracci
telescopici.
- Tergere le catene esterne del braccio 1
(Fig.C6) con un panno pulito che non
lascia pelucchi, poi esaminarle attenta-
mente per individuare qualsiasi traccia di
usura.
- Spazzolare energicamente le catene per
sbarazzarle di qualsiasi corpo estraneo.
Utilizzare una spazzola di nylon duro e
gasolio pulito.
- Sciacquare poi le catene con un pennello
impregnato di gasolio pulito e asciugarle
con un getto d'aria compressa.
- Lubrificare moderatamente le cate-
ne (vedere: 3 - MANUTENZIONE:
LUBRIFICANTI E CARBURANTE), ed effet-
tuare alcuni movimenti telescopici per
controllare il comportamento delle cate-
ne.
CONTROLLARE LA TENSIONE
- Estendere completamente i bracci tele-
scopici quindi richiamare il braccio di
200 mm.
- Al centro di ogni braccio telescopico T1
(Fig.C6) e T2 (Fig.C6) e servendosi di un
righello, misurare perpendicolarmente la
distanza fra la parte superiore del braccio
telescopico e la parte inferiore della cate-
na, questo valore deve essere identico
sulle due catene.

- Check, clean and lubricate the
outer chains of telescopic boom
These checks are important for the proper
operation of the boom. In case of techni-
cal faults, consult your dealer.
CLEAN AND GREASE
- Set the lift truck on its stabilisers, with
the boom horizontal.
- Fully extend the telescopes.
- Protect the underside of the telescopes.
- Wipe the outer boom chains 1 (Fig.C6)
with a clean, lint-free cloth, then exa-
mine them closely so as to detect any
signs of wear.
- Vigorously brush the chains to get rid
of any foreign matter, with a hard nylon
brush and clean diesel fuel.
- Rinse the chains by means of a paint
brush impregnated with clean diesel
fuel and dry them with a compressed
air jet.
- Lightly lubricate the chains (see: 3 -
MAINTENANCE: LUBRICANTS
FUEL), and perform a number of tele-
scoping movements to check the beha-
viour of the chains.
CHECK THE TENSION
- Fully extend the telescopes, then retract
the boom 200 mm.
- At the centre of both telescopes T1 (Fig.
C6) and T2 (Fig.C6), use a ruler to measu-
re the perpendicular distance between
the top of the telescope and the under-
side of the chain, this distance must be
identical for both chains.

C6 - De externe kettingen van de arm con-
troleren, schoonmaken en smeren
Deze controles zijn belangrijk voor de cor-
recte werking van de arm. Neem bij storin-
gen contact op met uw dealer.
SCHOONMAKEN EN SMEREN
- Plaats de heftruck op de stabilisatoren, net
de arm in horizontale stand.
- Strek de telescopische armen volledig uit.
- Bescherm het bovenste gedeelte van de
telescopische armen.
- Span de externe kettingen van de arm 1
(Fig. C6) in met een schone, doek die geen
pluizen achterlaat. Controleer ze zorgvul-
dig om eventuele slijtage op te sporen.
- Borstel de kettingen op energieke wijze om
alle vreemde voorwerpen te verwijderen.
Gebruik een harde nylonborstel en schone
dieselolie.
- Spoel de kettingen met een borstel die
ondergedompeld is in schone dieselolie en
droog ze af met een straal perslucht.
- Smeer de kettingen op een gematigde wijze
AND
(zie: 3 - ONDERHOUD: SMEERMIDDELEN EN
BRANDSTOFFEN) en voer een aantal tele-
scopische bewegingen uit om het gedrag
van de kettingen te controleren.
DE SPANNING CONTROLEREN
- Strek de telescopische armen volledig uit,
trek vervolgens de arm 200 mm in.
- Op het middenpunt van elke telescopische
arm T1 (Fig. C6) en T2 (Fig. C6) meet met
behulp van een liniaal loodrecht de afstand
tussen het bovenste gedeelte van de tele-
scopische arm en het onderste gedeelte
van de ketting. Deze waarde moet hetzelf-
de zijn voor beide kettingen.
