D3 - Sostituire il filtro secondario dell'impianto d'a-
limentazione
MRT EASY ST3B/ST4
Il carburante versato su superfici bollenti o com-
ponenti elettriche può provocare incendi. Per evi-
tare possibili infortuni spegnere l'interruttore di
avviamento quando si cambiano i filtri o l'elemento
separatore dell'acqua. Rimuovere immediatamente
il carburante versato.
Accertarsi che il motore sia fermo prima di eseguire
qualunque operazione di manutenzione o ripara-
zione.
Pulire accuratamente l'esterno del prefiltro nonché
il suo supporto per impedire la penetrazione della
polvere nel sistema.
Rimozione dell'elemento
- Aprire il cofano motore.
- Collocare un apposito recipiente sotto il separatore
dell'acqua "1" (fig.D2/1) per evitare di spargere il
combustibile. Ripulire dal combustibile eventual-
mente fuoriuscito. Pulire il corpo esterno del gruppo
del filtro.
- Contrassegnare temporaneamente con "A" (fig.D3/2) il
filtro prima di rimuovere il gruppo. Installare un tubo
adatto sullo scarico "3" (fig.D3/2). Aprire la valvola di
scarico "2" (fig.D3/2). Ruotare la valvola di scarico in
senso antiorario. Sono necessari due giri completi.
Allentare la vite di sfiato "1" (fig.D3/2).
- Lasciar scaricare il combustibile nel contenitore.
Rimuovere il tubo e installare la valvola sull'elemento
filtrante. Agganciare la filettatura della valvola nell'e-
lemento filtrante. Non serrare la valvola.
- Serrare saldamente la vite di sfiato "1" (fig.D3/2).
Rimuovere il bicchierino del filtro "5" (fig.D3/2) con
uno strumento adatto.
Ruotare il gruppo del filtro in senso antiorario per
rimuovere il gruppo.
Usare un attrezzo adatto per rimuovere il gruppo
del filtro.
- Ruotare l'elemento filtrante "4" (fig.D3/2) in senso
antiorario e rimuoverlo. Pulire il bicchierino del filtro.
Montaggio dell'elemento
- Rimontare l'elemento filtrante e una guarnizione
nuove (vedere: 3 - MANUTENZIONE: ELEMENTI
FILTRANTI E CINGHIE).
- Individuare la filettatura dell'elemento filtrante "7"
(fig.D3/2) sulle filettature "8" (fig.D3/2). Avvitare l'ele-
mento. Non serrare.
- Lubrificare l'anello di tenuta "6" (fig.D2/2) con dell'o-
lio motore pulito. NON riempire il bicchierino del fil-
tro "2" (fig.D3/2) con combustibile prima di installare
il gruppo del filtro.
- Non usare un attrezzo per installare l'elemento fil-
trante. Serrare manualmente il gruppo. Montare il
bicchierino del filtro "2"(fig.D3/2) e allinearlo con la
marcatura temporanea "A" (fig.D3/2).
- Serrare la valvola di scarico "3" (fig.D3/2).
- Adescare l'impianto di alimentazione (vedere: 3 -
MANUTENZIONE: H1 - CIRCUITO DI ALIMENTAZIONE
COMBUSTIBILE).

D3 - Change the secondary filter of the fuel
supply system

The fuel poured on the boiling surfaces and
electrical components can cause fires. To avoid
possible accidents, switch off the starter switch
while changing the filters or water separator
element. Remove spilt fuel immediately.
Make sure the engine is stationary before car-
rying out maintenance or repairs on it.
Wipe the outside of the prefilter as well as its
support thoroughly to prevent dust from pene-
trating the system.
Removing the element
- Open the engine hood.
- Place a container under the water separator
"1" (Fig.D2/1) to avoid spilling the fuel. Wipe
the fuel that leaks out. Wipe the outer body of
the filter unit.
- Make a temporary marking "A" on the filter
(Fig.D2/2) before removing the unit. Install a
suitable tube on outlet "3" (Fig. D3/2).Open
drainage valve "2" (Fig. D3/2). Turn the drainage
valve anticlockwise. It must be turned through
two complete turns. Slacken the vent screw "1"
(Fig. D3/2).
- Let the fuel drain out into the container.
Remove the tube and install the valve on the
filter element. Fit the valve thread in the filter
element. Do not tighten the valve.
- Tighten the vent screw "1" (Fig. D3/2) firmly.
Remove the filter cup "5" (Fig.D3/2) using an
appropriate tool. Rotate the filter unit anti-
clockwise to remove the unit. Use a suitable
tool to remove the filter unit.
- Turn the filter element "4" (Fig.D3/2) anti-
clockwise and remove it. Clean the filter cup.
Fitting the element
- Refit the filter element and new gaskets (see: 3 –
MAINTENANCE: FILTER ELEMENTS AND BELTS).
- Identify the thread on the filter element "7" (Fig.
D3/2) on the thread "8" (Fig.D3/2). Screw the
element: Do not tighten it.
- Lubricate the sealing ring "6" (Fig.D2/2) using
clean engine oil. DO NOT fill the filter cup "2"
(Fig. D3/2) with fuel before installing the filter
unit.
- Do not use a tool to insert the filter element.
Tighten the unit manually. Fit the filter cup
"2" (Fig. D3/2) and align it with the temporary
marking "A" (Fig. D3/2).
- Tighten the drainage valve "3" (Fig. D3/2).
- Prime the supply system (see: 3 – MAINTENANCE:
H1 – FUEL SUPPLY CIRCUIT).

Wanneer brandstof op kokende oppervlakken of
elektrische onderdelen wordt gegoten, kan dit brand
veroorzaken. Om mogelijke ongevallen te vermijden,
schakel de startschakelaar uit wanneer u filters of
het waterafscheidingselement vervangt. Verwijder
onmiddellijk de gemorste brandstof.
Verzeker u ervan dat de motor stopgezet is voor-
dat u onderhouds- of herstellingswerkzaamheden
verricht.
Maak de buitenkant van de voorfilter zorgvuldig
schoon, evenals zijn steun om te voorkomen dat stof
in het systeem kan binnendringen.
Verwijdering van het element
- Open de motorkap.
- Zet een geschikte bak onder de waterafscheider
"1" (Fig. D2/1) om de eventuele brandstof op te
vangen. Verwijder de eventuele brandstof. Maak
de buitenkant van de filtereenheid schoon.
- Zet even een teken "A" (Fig. D3/2) op het filter
voor de eenheid te verwijderen. Monteer een
geschikte slang op de afvoer "3" (Fig. D3/2).
Open het afvoerventiel "2" (Fig. D3/2). Draai het
afvoerventiel twee hele slagen. U dient twee
volledige draaibewegingen uit te voeren. Draai
de ontluchtingsschroef "1" los (Fig. D3/2).
- Laat de brandstof in de bak weglopen. Verwijder
de slang en monteer het ventiel op het filtere-
lement. Zet het schroefdraad van het ventiel
in het filterelement. Draai het ventiel niet vast.
- Draai de ontluchtingsschroef "1" stevig vast (Fig.
D3/2). Verwijder de beker van het filter "5" (Fig.
D3/2) met een geschikt stuk gereedschap.
Draai de filtereenheid tegen de richting van de
klok in om hem te verwijderen.
Gebruik een geschikt stuk gereedschap om de
eenheid van het filter te verwijderen.
- Draai het filterelement "4" (Fig. D3/2) tegen de
richting van de klok in en verwijder het. Maak
de beker van het filter schoon.
Montage van het element
- Monteer het filterelement weer met een nieuwe
afdichting (zie: 3 - ONDERHOUD: FILTERELEMENTEN
EN DRIJFRIEMEN).
- Zet het schroefdraad van het filterelement "7" (Fig.
D3/2) op het schroefdraad "8" (Fig. D3/2). Draai het
element aan. Niet vastdraaien.
- Smeer de afdichtingsring "6" (Fig. D2/2) met schone
motorolie. Vul de beker van het filter "2" (Fig. D3/2)
NIET met brandstof voor de eenheid van het filter te
monteren.
- Gebruik geen gereedschap om het filterelement
te monteren. Draai de eenheid met de hand aan.
Monteer de beker van het filter "2" (Fig. D3/2) en
breng hem op één lijn met het tijdelijk aangebrachte
teken "A" (Fig. D3/2).
- Draai het afvoerventiel "3" vast (Fig. D3/2).
- Vul het brandstofsysteem (zie: 3 - ONDERHOUD: H1 -
BRANDSTOFTOEVOERCIRCUIT).
