Selecting events on the controller with the pads in Keyboard mode.
You have following selection tools at your disposal:
Selection Tool
Pads
Button 7/8 (ALL/NONE)
Button 5/6 (UP/DOWN)
Knob 1/2 (START/END)
Page buttons
Knob 3/4 (LOW/HIGH)
By combining these tools you can precisely define the selection of notes you want to edit.
Additionally, at any time the pads indicate you the selection status of their respective events:
Description
Press any dimmed pad to select all notes at that particular pitch. The pad lights
up to indicate that all notes at that pitch are selected (if the Pattern doesn't have
any events at that pitch, the pad is off). You can press any additional pad to add
other pitches to the selection. Press a lit pad to remove all notes at that pitch from
the selection (the pad turns dimmed).
Selects/deselects all notes for all pitches of the current Sound — in short all
notes/events of that Sound.
Select the previous/next Sound in order to add or remove some of its notes to/from
the selection. The name of the selected Sound is indicated under the
DOWN
labels on the right display.
Define the selection's start and end points in the timeline for the current Sound.
All notes within this time interval and within the pitch interval defined by
and
HIGH
(see below) are included into the selection.
Shift the selection interval defined by the
on the timeline. As the selection interval moves, some notes are included into the
selection while others are excluded from the selection.
Define the selection's lowest and highest pitch for the current Sound. All notes
within this pitch interval and within the time interval defined by
(see above) are included into the selection.
