Activating the Tissue or Bone feature

Automatic Exposure Control
In automatic modes, if you release the footswitch or the
trol panel immediately after a press, the G-Arm system will initiate the AEC
(Automatic Exposure Control) sequence, in which the loading factors (kV,
mA, and exposure duration) are automatically controlled according to the
physical characteristics of the patients.
Automatic modes, where the AEC sequence may take over the control, in-
cludes the following:

Automatic Continuous Fluoroscopy mode
●
Automatic Pulse Fluoroscopy mode
●
Half Dose Automatic Continuous Fluoroscopy mode
●
Half Dose Automatic Pulse Fluoroscopy mode
●
DR Fluoroscopy mode
Activate the AEC sequence
Take the following procedure to invoke the AEC sequence:

In any mode, press the Tissue
The LCD screens on the control panel display the currently selected
feature - capitalized characters "T" or "B" - in the lower right corners.
Note: You can neither activate nor deactivate both of these two fea-
tures at the same time. The Bone feature is automatically activated
upon system start.
