Inversion

You can reverse the image colors to create a photographic negative effect.
For example, as in the below figure, the left image is positive, while the one
on the right is a negative.

To invert an image:

Comparing Images
You can compare a frozen last image (LIH) and another image that has been
set as a reference image (REF) by displaying these two images alternately
with a single click or tap on a button.
To alternately display two images:

Invert: Reverses the colors of an image. Inverting an image creates the
appearance of a photographic negative.
Take a shot to generate a fluoroscopic image, or open an existing
study and then select an image from the image list.
On the control screen, press Invert
left of the image area to reverse the colors of the image.
Set as Reference: Sets the selected image as a reference image.
Compare with Reference: Switches the images displayed on the view-
ing monitors between a reference image (REF) and the frozen last
image (LIH), if such a reference image exists.
Get ready for fluoroscopic imaging. Create a new study if you hav-
en't done so.
In the image list or in the frozen image refreshing area (5 in Figure 8-
2 (p91)) click on the image that you want to set as a reference image.
The specified image will be displayed on the corresponding viewing
screen, depending on the X-ray plane where it has been generated.
