Connect the footswitch cable to the Control Unit
Plug the footswitch cable (L3) connector in the L3 socket (as shown in
Figure 2-2 (p29)) on the back cover of the Control Unit.
Connect the protective earth cable
The AC power receptacle must provide protective earth connection.
Connect one end of the protective earth cable (L4) to the L4 port of the Con-
trol Unit (as shown in Figure 2-2 (p29)), and connect the other end to a pro-
tective earth terminal.

Lock both connectors in place by securely applying the catch locks
(2 in Figure 2-2 (p29) and 13 in Figure 3-2 (p38)).
If the connectors are not securely locked in place, unreliable system
operation may result.
Connect the end with this symbol to the Control Unit
Connect the end with this symbol to the G-Arm
Make sure the protective earth connection is undamaged.
