Chapter 7 - Fluoro Imaging Modes

Manual Pulse Fluoroscopy

In Manual Pulse Fluoroscopy mode, you manually set the loading factors
such as kV and mA values according to the particular conditions of different
patients. During fluoroscopic imaging, the X-ray is intermittently generated.
Note: Simultaneous bi-plane (AP & LT) fluoroscopy imaging, namely, taking ex-
posures from both AP and LT planes, can only be initiated from the Auto/Manual
Pulse Fluoroscopy mode. While in other continuous fluoroscopy modes, if the
AP/LT foot pedal (blue & yellow colored) is pressed, the system automatically
switches to the pulse modes.

DR Fluoroscopy

The DR (Digital Radiation) Fluoroscopy mode is substantially the same as the
Automatic Pulse mode, except with more progressive parameter settings to
produce better images.
In this mode, the mA value is fixed, higher than that in the Automatic Pulse
mode. Meanwhile, the G-Arm system automatically alters the kV value and
the exposure duration to achieve higher image quality.
