Command
Description
Request the SIM card PIN's status.
?CPIN
The response in the format #SM +CPIN: SIM <s>*
Where <s> can be either
- READY: contains the last string obtained by the
"AT+CPIN?" command sent to the modem
- PIN: PIN is present
- PUK: wrong PIN entered three times
Request the modem signal strength (RSSI) and the bit error rate (BER) value. The value
?CSQ
is related to the last modem connection.
The format is:
#SM CSQ= x,y (dd/mm/yy hh:mm:ss)*
The first value x indicates the modem signal strength (RSSI):
0:
1:
2...30: -109... -53 dBm
31:
99:
(or RSSI [dBm] = –113 + RSSI [id] *2)
The second value y indicates the bit error rate (BER):
0:
Less than 0,1 %
1:
0,26 % to 0,30 %
2:
0,51 % to 0,64 %
3:
1,0 % to 1,3 %
4:
1,9 % to 2,7 %
5:
3,8 % to 5,4 %
6:
7,6 % to 11,0 %
7:
Greater than 15,0 %
99: Not known or not detectable
The (dd/mm/yy hh:mm:ss) indicates Date and Time of the measured RSSI and BER
value.
Example #SM?CSQ * returns the response:
#SM CSQ= 4,99 (24/04/18 14:11:45)*
All Events list request.
?EVN
The reply shows the complete list of all the
available events, stored by the Station.
This command is not available via SMS.
Last 20 Events list request.
?EVNL
The reply shows the list of latest 20 available
events, stored by the Station.
This command is not available via SMS.
