Speed Dial
Phones with programmable buttons and DSS/BLF devices can use speed
dial with account codes.
To configure a one-touch speed dial with an account code, go to the
Personal Settings > Speed Dials > One Touch screen in the NetSet utility
and use the following format in the Number field:
[888] + Account code + # + Outbound number
The use of brackets is mandatory and indicates that 888 is a feature
code.
To configure a personal speed dial with an account code, go to the
Personal Settings > Speed Dials > Personal screen in the NetSet utility and
supply the account code separately in the Account Code field.
For security reasons, the LCD on the phone does not show the account
code during a speed dial. If the account code is valid, the LCD shows the
account name.
Call Transfer
When transferring a call, you must enter an account code before the
second call is routed if Forced mode is enabled. After the transfer is
complete, the account code entered on the second call leg also applies to
the transferred call.
This means that the first call (prior to the start of transfer) can have
account code XXX, the second call (prior to the completion of the
transfer) can have account code YYY, and the transferred call has account
code YYY.
VTL
Forced account code entry applies to all VTL calls.
Before you configure account codes for your NBX system, you should be
familiar with the enforcement and verification mechanisms and how they
affect your call operations.
Codes fall into one of the these modes:
