Reserved station specification

This function allows reservation of a station that will be connected to the network in the future (although the station is
not actually connected at present, it must be included in the total number of stations for the network). Reserved
stations are not detected as faulty stations even though they are not actually connected.
Specify a reserved station in "Specify Reserved Station" in the network range assignment window of the control station.
(
Page 200, Section 6.3.5)
When a reserved station actually exists on a network, transient transmissions are executable to the station.
In other words, the following are available for the station.
• Checking error details by the CC IE Control diagnostics
• Writing parameters from another station in the case of erroneous parameter setting
• Monitoring other stations with a programming tool
• Dedicated instructions
When disconnecting a reserved station from a network, set the mode of the station to "Offline".
