The set date <date> command sets the date without changing the time. The

month name. The year can be expressed in either 2 or 4 digits - 01 or 2001.
The set date <date> time <time> command sets the system date and time.
Alternatively, the set date <date> command leaves the time unchanged. Use the
show date command to see the current settings for the date and time. The
format is dd-mmm-[yy]yy. The month should be the first three characters of the

The set timezone <string> command sets the local time zone. This time zone can
be a simple time zone rule or the name of one of the pre-defined time zone

The OfficeConnect Gateway uses NTP to automatically set system date and system
time to the values provided by NTP servers installed on the network.
The OfficeConnect gateway maintains a list of known NTP servers installed on the
network. If a particular NTP server is not specified, the OfficeConnect Gateway
randomly selects two NTP servers front he list and designates them as the primary
and secondary NTP servers, respectively.
If an installed NTP server is not available on the network, the OfficeConnect
Gateway sets the system date and time using the values automatically provided at
system power-up, or the values set manually by the user with the CLI commands.
