Configuring a Filter for a User
Use this command string to configure an input or output filter for a specific user.
For example:
set user nancy input_filter filter.flt
Filters take effect for a user the next time that user makes a connection. Also, you
must set filter access on to filter for a user. See next section.
Setting Filter Access
When filters are assigned to both the interface and the user, you must enable
filter access.
Use this command to set the filter access parameter ON for a specific interface.
Use this command to set the filter access parameter OFF for a specific interface.
Filter file changes take effect on an interface immediately when you issue the set
interface command.
