OMMANDS
The OfficeConnect Gateway can be configured to perform the following DHCP
related functions:
DHCP Server - provide IP addresses to any host requesting BOOTP request
DHCP Proxy Agent - if any Virtual connections request an IP address, the
OfficeConnect Gateway can either assign an IP address from the pool, or relay
the BOOTP request to the LAN based DHCP Server
DHCP Client over WAN - OfficeConnect Gateway sends BOOTP request to
upstream Router for IP address at WAN interface
This section describes the DHCP commands.
Use this command to display the options learned by DHCP Client for the specified
network. The options displayed are the IP address, subnet mask, default router ID,
configuration file name, DNS server IP addresses, domain name, WINS server IP
addresses, and TFTP server name.
Example:
OCG-Adsl>> show dhcp_client network alaska options

Use this command to display DHCP Client statistics for the specified network. The
statistics displayed include the number of packets received, the number of
transmitted packets, the number of received DHCPOFFER packets, the number of
received DHCPACK packets, the number of received DHCPNAK packets, the
number of DHCPDISCOVER packets, the number of DHCPREQUEST packets, the
number of DHCPDECLINE packets, the number of DHCPRELEASE packets, and the
number of DHCPINFORM packets.
Example:
