Symptom
• It is cutting on the grit roller
imprint.
• Tool condition changes.
• Media travels tilted.
• It does not become specified
length. (Slight distance
error)
• "LOAD MEDIA!" is displayed
even if the media is set and
media set lever is moved up.
Possible Cause
Cutting width is widened.
Setting of the priority is set to
PROGRAM.
[ENTER] key is not pressed
after changing the TOOL
CONDITION.
Media is loaded tilted.
Media is slipping.
Roll media is not set properly.
Changing of the hold-down
force of the push roller is not
suitable for the media.
Media is slipping.
Distance adjust value is not
correct.
Media is close to transparent
and media sensor makes
false recognition. (This may
happen depending on the
media.)
Media sensor malfunctions
with strong scattered
reflection.
There may be defective in the
operation of the media set
lever sensor.
Solution
Please revert the expand limit to the
default setting.
Change the setting of the priority to
MANUAL.
Check the TOOL CONDITION again.
Reload the media.
Perform pre feed once and make
impression to make it harder to slip.
Set the roll media properly.
Please set a media suitable for
changing the hold-down force.
Make the speed slower.
Increase the tool up speed.
Perform feeding.
Perform distance adjust.
Transparent media cannot be
detected. DISABLE the media sensor
and set the cut area when this kind of
media is used.
Move the position of the light source.
Make is so no direct sunlight shines.
