Accessing the Output Queue
The availability of data from the Test Set is summarized in the MAV bit of the
Status Byte Register. The MAV message is TRUE, logic 1, when there is data in
the Output Queue and FALSE, logic 0, when it is empty. The Output Queue is
read by sending a command, such as the HP
waiting (if necessary) for data to become available. After data is read, subsequent
bus messages will be processed.
