Move your hands to the sides of the top
cover. Applying pressure with both hands,
lift up on the cover with a quick pull. The
sides will release.
Lower the back of the cover a little and begin
working the cover toward the front of the
processor.
If you look over the top to the front of the
processor, you will be able to tell when the
top cover has cleared the disk drives. When
it does, begin lifting the cover up until it is
completely off the processor.

Locate the position for the board.
Note: Because the XC 24 Network Access Board
has only one edge connector, it should be inserted
into the first available single row socket to the
right.

Remove the screw and the option slot plate and
set them aside. See Fig. 2-8.
10.Move the colored wires that cross the socket
away from the socket itself. Position the wires
so that they will be either beneath or above the
board when it is installed.
