If any jumper is positioned incorrectly, grasp
it between thumb and forefinger and lift it
straight up, taking care not to bend the pins.
Note: You may find it easier to remove the jumpers
with a pair of tweezers or needle-nosed pliers.
. Carefully reposition it over the correct pins.
2.
Look at Fig. 2-2, which illustrates three
connectors located on a corner of the board near
the option slot plate. If you look at your board,
you will see that a jumper block is positioned
over two of these connectors.

3. Look at Fig. 2-3 and Fig. 2-4. Notice that the
jumper block mentioned above should be
positioned over connectors 1 and 2 if you are
connecting a BNC T-adapter to your board, and
over connectors 2 and 3 if you are connecting a
D-connector to your board.
Note: If you are connecting your computer to a
network with Thin-Cable Ethernet (RG-58), you
will connect a BNC T-adapter to your board. If you
are using Thick Cable Ethernet to connect your
computer to a network, you will connect a D-
connector to your board.
