To use the 630 ECSC (Extended Character Set -
Compatible) printer:
. Plug the printer cable into the connector
marked "Parallel" on the back of the
processor, using a parallel cable. You can
order parallel cables either from your local
Xerox/Diablo sales representative or directly
from Diablo.
. Check to be sure the operating mode
switches are set exactly as illustrated on the
next page.
The operating mode switches for the 630
ECSC printer are located behind the
external control panel, and are covered when
the front cover is in place.
