- Lift the access cover on the interface
cartridge to locate the operating mode
switches.
- Check that the switches are set exactly as
illustrated below.
The serial interface cartridge for the 635 Printer
has one bank of eight switches. A label above the
switches identifies the function of each switch.
Position the switches as follows:
- Position switches 1 through 6 in the
direction away from the printer (0ft).
- Position switches 7 and 8 toward the printer
(On).
To change a switch setting, use the tip of a ball-
point pen or small screwdriver to push the switch
lever into the desired position.
