6. Install the memory chips one at a time. See
Fig. 2-6.
- Align the pins on the chip with the holes in
the socket.
- Tilt the chip slightly to insert one side before
bringing down and inserting the other side.
- Press down firmly on the center of the chip
until it is seated. Be sure all pins are
inserted before continuing.
- Repeat these steps until all chips have been
installed.
- Check all notches on the chips and sockets~
for alignment.
