Locate the two wires connected to the back left
corner of the processor and gently move them
out of the way.

Remove the screw and the option slot plate and

set them aside. See Fig. 2-4. ,.,_., ·
9.
Hold the modem option board by the edges as
you align the edge connector over the socket.
See Fig. 2-5.

10.
Insert the edge connector into the socket and
press down firmly until the board "snaps" into
place.
11.
Secure the modem option board in the slot with
the screw removed earlier.
12.
Replace the top cover of the processor as
follows:
