4.10 Sewing

Before starting sewing
Initial • Pedal in rest position.
Machine is at a standstill.

Needle is up. Sewing foot is down.
Position • Press the Pedal halfway back.
The sewing feet are raised.

material • Position the sewing material.
at seam • Release the Pedal.
The sewing feet are lowered onto the sewing

Start bartack • Push the Pedal forwards and keep it there.
Start bartack is sewn (if specified).

In the middle of the seam
Stopping • Release the Pedal (position 0).

Continue • Press the Pedal forwards.
