Possible Cause
a. Battery is running low.
b. Power cord disconnected
from AC main power
source.
c. Power cord disconnected
from the back of the
INOmax DS
.
IR
a. Cylinder valve is closed.
b. The NO cylinder supply
may be low.
c. The regulator hose may not
be connected.
d. INOmax DS
has an
IR
internal leak.
a. Internal flow sensor
requires calibration.
b. The INOmax DS
has
IR
failed.
Recommended Action
All of these actions can be performed while
delivering INOMAX to the patient:
Battery will deplete in approximately 30 minutes
or less.
Confirm main power supply indicator light is
illuminated (green).
Connect to AC main power source.
Confirm main power supply indicator light is
illuminated (green).
Confirm power supply cord is fully inserted
into power cord inlet and power cord clamp is
secure.
Contact Technical Support.
All of these actions can be performed while
delivering INOMAX to the patient:
Confirm INOMAX cylinder valve is fully open.
If INOMAX regulator gauge reads less than 14
bar (200 psig), change cylinder.
Confirm correct INOMAX regulator hose is
connected.
Contact Technical Support.
The INOmax DS
has failed, INOMAX delivery
IR
has been interrupted. Manually ventilate patient
with the INOblender
or
turn integrated pneumatic backup delivery ON
(verify at least five L/min ventilator gas flow in
patient circuit).
The INOmax DS
requires an internal flow
IR
sensor calibration.
Remove from service.
