13. Make sure that the board is firmly seated in the slot.
14. Install the PCI blank retainer on page 58.
15. Observe the guidelines for managing cables.
16. Connect the M.2 SATA cable.
17. Install the air baffle on page 51.
18. Install the access panel on page 49.
19. Do one of the following:
Server in tower mode: Position the tower server for operation on page 42.
Server in rack mode: Slide the server into the rack on page 47.
20. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
21. Connect each power cord to the server.
22. Connect each power cord to the power source.
23. Power up the server on page 38.
24. Install the front bezel on page 40.
The installation is complete.

Redundant power supply enablement option

The RPS enablement option supports the installation of two Gen10 Flexible Slot (Flex Slot) power supplies.
Adding a second power supply provides redundant power support to the server if one power supply fails. You
do not have to power down the server before removing or installing a redundant hot-plug power supply.
