Chapter 12. Date and Time

The Date/Time configuration screen, provides options for:
• Direct entry of date and time.
• Selection from calendar and time zone prompts.
• Synchronization with the CT PC date/time (Synchronize With Computer).
• Synchronization with an external Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP)
server. SNTP is a reduced accuracy version of NTP. The protocol fields are the
same, but the data values and algorithms used have reduced accuracy so that it
can be implemented on limited capacity systems.
