Configuration is not compatible with the hardware or its licensed capacity. This
is a major alarm.
1. Incorrect Node plug-in installed for the configuration, such as DAC 16x,
AUX, or a RAC installed in a slot configured for a DAC 155o.
2. Incorrect RAC/ODU, or IDU/ODU pairing.
3. The configured capacity has exceeded the licensed capacity.
1. For a Node, check the configuration required against the plug-in installed.
Change either the configuration or the plug-in using the CT System Summary
screen.
2. Check that the RAC/ODU or IDU/ODU pairing is correct.
3. Check the configured capacity for the RAC(s) against the licensed capacity
for the appropriate slot in the Installation > Licensing screen.
Hardware is not supported by the installed software. This is a major alarm.
There is a software/hardware version mismatch, which may occur when:
• A new plug-ins is installed, which requires a later version of software than that
currently running on the Node.
• An ODU is installed which requires a later version of software than that
currently running on the Node/IDU.
To remove the alarm, compatible software is required; install the latest software.
A check for possible mismatch occurs during the following events:
• Power on
• Software reset
• Plug-in inserted
