NCC TDM Clock Failure
3DB 23063 ADAA - Rev 004 July 2007
Expansion cable unplugged or equipment malfunction.
Check the cable.
Replace the affected NCC.
FAN plug-in alarm. This is a warning alarm.
FAN plug-in malfunction, most likely a failure of one of its two axial fans.
Replace the FAN.
The two axial fans operate in protected mode. In the event the operational fan
fails, the standby fan will come on line. While both fans will run if the INU
temperature exceeds a preset threshold, normally just one will run, and operation
will be cycled between the two.
The FAN is field replaceable and can be hot-swapped; removal will not affect
traffic.
FAN missing from fan slot. This is a major alarm.
The FAN plug-in is misssing or incorrectly seated.
Install a FAN, or reseat the FAN in its backplane.
NCC TDM clock has failed. This is a warning alarm.
