Deleting a VLAN interface

You can delete a VLAN interface or the IP address of the VLAN interface.
You can use the IP address of the VLAN interface to log in to the device. You will be disconnected
from the device when you delete one of the following items:

IP address of the VLAN interface that is used for login.
To log in to the device again, you must assign a new address to the VLAN interface at the CLI or use
another available address.
To delete a VLAN interface:
From the navigation tree, select Network > VLAN Interface.

Click Remove.

Description
Auto
Configure the way in which the VLAN interface gets an IPv6 link-local address.
Select the Auto or Manual option:

interface according to the link-local address prefix (FE80::/64) and the
Manual
link-layer address of the VLAN interface.
Manual—Configures an IPv6 link-local address for the VLAN interface
manually.
Select Up or Down from the Admin Status list to bring up or shut down the

Admin
Otherwise, the VLAN interface is up.
