It should be noted that there is a small amount of ZoneRanger configuration information that is currently
not included in a backup and must always be configured manually:

IP interface configuration (i.e. which interfaces are enabled, and their associated IP addresses
and network masks).
•
Joining passcode.
•
SNMP agent configuration (e.g.. sysContact and sysLocation)
Ranger Gateway Backups
Backups of the Ranger Gateway configuration can be created and restored using the Ranger Gateway
command. Only backups of the same Ranger Gateway version may be restored. By default,

Ranger Gateway backups are located in the <install_dir>/backups directory.

Note, when a Ranger Gateway backup is restored, the Ranger Gateway software will be restarted.
