Cassette Modification - Ricoh FT5580 Service Manual

CASSETTE MODIFICATION

1. Remove the cassette cover.
2. Remove the side fences [A] (1 screw each) and the bottom plate [B].
3 . R e p o s i t i o n t h e r e a r f e n c e [ C ] ( 1 s c r e w ) i n t h e d e s i r e d p a p e r s i z e
position.
NOTE: Paper size positions are shown on the inside of the cassette.
4. Reinstall the bottom plate.
5. Reinstall the side fences in the desired paper size position.
6. Attach the appropriate paper size decals [D] on the cassette at the
positions shown.
7. Insert the desired actuator plate [E] in the slot on the front of the
cassette as shown.
