SERVICE CALL CONDITIONS

Code #11: Exposure Lamp Malfunction
Definition:
Lights if the lamp filament breaks or if the lamp turns on during stand-by.
Observation:
When the main switch is turned on, call service code "11" is displayed.
Points to Check:
If the lamp is lit during the stand-by mode check CN103-5 on the main
If it is not lit during copy cycle, check CN501-6 on the ac drive

Code #12: Lamp Relay Open
Definition:
Lights if the lamp stays on longer than
Observation:
The lamp remains lit when the scanner
Points to Check:
Check CN102-A20 and CN101-A24 on the main PCB.
Code #21: Scanner Home Position Not On
Definition:
Code #21 lights at power-up if the home position sensor is not actuated
2,000 pulses after the scanner motor starts rotating.
Observation:
At power-up the scanner is out of home position.
Points to Check:

CN305-3 on the optics board.
