7. Pressure Roller Replacement

1. Perform steps 1 through 4 of "Hot Roller Replacement."
2 . O p e n a n d r e m o v e t h e f u s i n g e x i t a s s e m b l y [ A ] ( 1 E - r i n g a n d 1
connector).
3. Remove the oil pan [B] (4 screws and 4 hooks).
4. Remove the front pressure spring [C], and remove the front pressure
lever [D] (1 E-ring).
5. Lift up the upper part of the fusing unit and remove the pressure
roller [E].
6. Install the bearings on the new pressure roller and reassemble.
