5. Loosen the 2 screws securing the pinion bracket [C].
6. Loosen the screw securing the guide post lock plate [D].
7. Move the pinion bracket while holding the pinion so that the pinion
does not turn. (The front and rear guide posts must be equidistant
from the center.)
8. Tighten the screws securing the pinion bracket.
9. Tighten the screws securing the guide post lock plates.
10. C o n f i r m t h a t t h e I e n g t h b e t w e e n t h e g u i d e p o s t s [ E ] i s w i t h i n t h e
standard value range (297 to 299.5).
11. C o n f i r m t h a t t h e s i d e r e g i s t r a t i o n i s a d j u s t e d c o r r e c t l y a n d
reassemble.
