1. Set the ADS reference voltage (SP 56).
2. Adjust the ADS voltage if necessary.
3. Place three sheets of A3/LDG white paper on the exposure glass,
and set SP 57. Then, press the Enter key and the Start key.
4. Write down the "V1" & "K" reading, and set the SP 59. (First set ADS
mode.)
5. Repeat steps 3 through 5 using any original but white paper on the
exposure glass, and confirm that "V1" & "K" (SP 57) and "V1" (SP 59)
all change (SP 57 decrease, SP 59 increase).
: Problem with ADS mode occurs.
: T o c h e c k i f A D S c o n t r o l s d e v e l o p m e n t b i a s v o l t a g e
properly.
: Darker original should increase the development bias
voltage during ADS operation.
: Set SP 57
: A D S v o l t a g e i s d i s p l a y e d o n t h e g u i d a n c e d i s p l a y
("V1"). Also, the number "K", which is the actual ADS
v o l t a g e d i v i d e d b y t h e r e f e r e n c e A D S v o l t a g e ( f i x e d
by SP 56), is displayed.
