Before assembly, wash all parts with a high flash point r - - - - S- TO - P- P E - R - R -,N -G - - - - - - - - - - - - ,
or non-flammable solvent and wipe them dry.

OUTER TUBE AND SLIDER ASSEMBLY
Wrap the end of the slider with tape .
Coat new fork oil seal and dust seal lips with
recommended fork oil (page 13-26).
Install the dust seal and stopper ring onto the fork
slider.
Install the oil seal onto the fork slider with its marked
side facing the dust seal.
Remove the tape from the end of the folil slider.

bushing.
NOTE'
Remove the burrs from the bushing mating surface,
being careful not to peel off the coating.
