Removing
– Remove the cooling water tank cover ⇒ Body Work; Rep. gr.
66 .
– Disconnect the hose coupling on the line to the activated char‐
coal filter -1- ⇒ page 216
– Detach the bleeder hose -1- to intake manifold at the activated
charcoal filter.
– Unlock activated charcoal filter arrow -B- and remove the ac‐
tivated charcoal filter with bracket upwards arrow -A-.
– Unscrew bracket -3- for activated charcoal filter.
– Unscrew screw on windshield washer fluid reservoir filler neck
-2-.
– Remove plug from the coolant shortage indicator switch - F66-
at the coolant expansion tank -1- and expose electrical wiring
loom.
– Unscrew coolant expansion tank screws -1-; place coolant ex‐
pansion tank with connected hoses on the engine and attach
if necessary.
– Remove caps of the screw connections of the front suspension
strut dome.
