– Replace screws -1- and -2- and insert them loosely.
• It must still be possible to turn the camshaft sprockets on the
camshafts, however they must not tilt.
• Sheet peg -arrow- of the tensioning pulley must engage in the
cast iron recess of the cylinder head.
– Fit crankshaft toothed belt pulley onto the crankshaft.
• Contact surface between crankshaft toothed belt sprocket and
crankshaft must be free of oil and grease.
• Milled surface -arrow- on the crankshaft toothed belt must be
positioned on the crankshaft stub.
Observe sequence when fitting the toothed belt.
If the old toothed belt is installed, pay attention to the arrow which
indicates the direction of rotation.
– Mount the toothed belt -1- onto the crankshaft toothed belt
sprocket -2-.
